Newborn Session

 
   

I offer a 'one to one' session for mother and new born baby in your own home soon after you have had your baby.

This session includes:-

Learning various handling positions for baby, to help ease colic, wind and tummy aches in babies - with awareness of good postural support for mum.

Pelvic floor strengthening exercises which are essential at this time, to help all the healing processes from within, and to help strengthen the back. Also gentle stretches to relieve 'feeding hunch' and help regain good posture.

Calm breathing exercises and relaxation to help mums cope with all the physical and mental demands of new motherhood, and to relieve stress and anxiety.

This is invaluable as good practices started straight away can help mum and baby to bond with confidence, and enjoy this new stage of their lives.

These sessions can be carried out before your 6 week check up as they are very gentle, tailored to suit you and your baby's needs individually depending on your birthing experience.

I can come to your house, or you can come along to mine if you prefer.

(This can be a shared session if wished).
