These classes are especially for pregnant ladies between 14 weeks and 40 weeks. They are friendly informal classes, and very gentle, suitable for complete beginners. Emphasis is on simple movements to encourage optimal foetal postioning, breathing and relaxation exercises. Many benefits are gained helping pregnancy, labour and birth to run more smoothly, often with little intervention and pain relief being used. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at: Westwood Primary School 7.45pm - 9.00pm ( This is a drop-in class - £5 per session payable on the night) Please bring a mat as there are none in the hall. (Please telephone me prior to coming along to the above classes for the first time to find out more details - 01702 552260- also I am not there in some of the school holidays). . CLASSES WILL RESUME AFTER THE SUMMER BREAK ON 8th SEPT.
ONE TO ONE PRIVATE TUITION If preferred I teach on a private 'one to one' basis, (during the day time) and can either come along to your house, or you can come to mine! This is for an hour, and I tailor a class to your specific needs and requirements depending on your stage of pregnancy and bring handouts, blocks and mats etc. (This can be a shared session with one or two friends). LABOUR PREPARATION SESSION - I also offer a one off labour preparation session for you and your birthing partner at your home, so they can be involved and learn some useful tips on how to support and help you during your labour with breathing techniques and movements. This can also be a shared session with one or two friends!
